Back to the farm JAKO.

Rob and I took Ruby on a roadtrip and had an "experience" over Memorial Day weekend, a Night on the Farm at the JAKO Farm just outside the small town of Yoder Kansas. JAKO is a fourth-generation family-owned and operated farm producing pure food the way it was intended.  Not only are they beyond organic, but JAKO also helping teach others how to transition to REAL sustainable farming and food production. It was a fun and educational evening full of food, laughter, hay rides, and baby animals. (I totally want chickens now).

Yoder is just outside Hutchinson Kansas and we stayed in the cutest little B&B, the little house in Yoder. Dating back to 1895, it is the oldest Amish house in Yoder. If those walls could only talk, WOW the stories they would tell.

A big thank you to our friends, Chris Martin and Lisa Mast, for the invitation and the whole JAKO family for making us part of yours. We are already planning our next trip.
